Introduction
Mary's Litany
Gold is the most precious and prized of metals. Scripture describes objects made of gold as the most valuable and worthy of respect and reverence.
Because of Mary's unique perfections, and recipient of God's favors, graces, virtues, innocence, and purity, she has been so favored above and beyond all that is earthly that she is described as not only as golden, but a house of gold. In Mary dwelt a Divine Person who received from her his human life, and found in her the most perfect dwelling in which to grow, be nourished, and be protected.
Mary's body housed the Son of God in which his human nature grew and was nourished. Mary is our House of Gold. She desires to draw us closer to her Son, to be nourished by her love and strengthened in his life. As our mother she is solicitous that we grow in his love. The favors Mary asks of him for our welfare can never be refused.

Before
conceiving the Lord in her body she had already conceived him in her soul.
She had made room for the Lord in her soul and thus really became the true
Temple where God made himself incarnate, where he became present on this earth.
